Cash payments are ideal in a local situation. Sellers with Paypal accounts may ask for money to be sent via that service. This is generally safe and you will get some sort of receipt. We do not recommend any other payment transfer services.

The same general advice for buyers and sellers applies. Try to validate the credibility of the buyer and use common sense.

If posting your item, it is generally accepted that a person will need to pay for the item before it is sent.  It is unadvisable to send your item without first receiving payment in all other circumstances.

It is a good idea to send by Registered Post. This ensures proof-of-delivery, and insurance can also be purchased to cover lost or damaged articles.
